Discovery

It's always a pleasure to discover new places on your own. On my way to a ramen shop, I came across Sundaes and Cones, an excellent ice cream shop with Asian flavors. I had a scoop of honey dew in sugar cones and it was superb. I much prefer this to Stone Cold.

Dinner was at 来々軒, a ramen shop in the East Village recommended by the Japanese lady who cut my hair last time. While the miso ramen I had was just ok and a little overpriced for what it's worth, the narrow, L-shaped counter reminds me so much of authentic Japanese ramen joints that I would definitely drop by again the next time I am around the area.

Saw a charming French comedy My Best Friend. What is the definition of a "best friend"? There is no single definition. You'll know when you see one.
